What is a sedcard and why do I need one?+
A sedcard (also known as a composite card or comp card) is your professional calling card as a model. Casting directors, agencies, and clients decide within seconds whether you’re right for a job based on your images. A strong sedcard showcases your versatility and personality – it’s the key to castings, agency placements, and bookings.
How much does a sedcard shooting cost?+
Every sedcard shooting is tailored individually – depending on the number of categories (polars, fashion editorial, beauty, commercial), looks, and scope, I’ll create a personal quote for you. Simply fill out my short inquiry form and you’ll receive a no-obligation overview with all the details.
What are polars and why are they so important?+
Polars (also called polaroids or digitals) are natural, minimally edited shots with very little styling. They show you unfiltered and authentic – exactly what agencies want to see at castings. Polars are often the first impression and therefore an essential part of every professional sedcard.
How should I prepare for my sedcard shooting?+
Come well-rested with clean, well-groomed skin. Hair should be freshly washed without styling products. Bring simple clothing without large logos or bold patterns – ideally in muted colors. Nails should be clean and neat. After booking, you’ll receive a detailed checklist from me with everything you need to know.
Do I need my own makeup artist?+
For polars, little to no makeup is typically used – that’s intentional. For beauty and fashion editorial shots, I recommend a professional makeup artist to get the best out of your look. I’m happy to connect you with experienced MUAs who regularly work with me.
How many looks and images will I receive?+
That depends on the booked package. Multiple looks in one day are possible – from polars to fashion editorial, beauty, and commercial. Each look is individually retouched. You’ll receive your final images within 14 days in a private online gallery for download.
Can I book even without modeling experience?+
Absolutely! Many of my clients are stepping in front of the camera for the first time. I’ll guide you through the entire shoot – from body posture to expression and posing. The atmosphere is relaxed and professional. You’ll be surprised how quickly you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
What can I use my sedcard images for?+
Your sedcard images are perfect for model agencies, acting agencies, casting applications, your personal portfolio, and social media profiles. They’re also ideal for commercial clients, brand collaborations, and professional headshots in the creative industry.
